100 Rupee New Note: The Reserve Bank ( RBI ) will soon bring in the new series of notes circulation of 100 rupees.
These notes will be the signature of the new RBI Governor Das. The central bank said in a statement that these new notes coming soon of Rs 100 will be under Mahatma Gandhi New Series. The design of these notes will be similar to the existing 100 rupees notes.
At the same time, the central bank also said that even after the introduction of new notes, all the bank notes of Rs 100 made by the RBI in the past will remain legally valid.
Only a few hundred new notes have come a while ago
Although some time ago, the new series of 100 rupees has come to the notice, but the former RBI governor is the signature of Urjit Patel. Patel had resigned in December 2018 for personal reasons. Patel was appointed as the 24th governor of RBI in September 2016. After his resignation, Shastikant Das was appointed as Governor of RBI.
